In 1984, a VHS video, Through the Looking Glass, was released only in the UK and Japan. It contained A Flock of Seagulls music videos as well as live performances from 1981-1984 and brief interview segments through out. Notes –
The video collection comes complete with introductions to the twelve songs done by the band that were taken from an interview done in 1984 while Paul was still in the band. The four songs marked with an asterisk are from a 1983 live performance of the band at the Brixton Acadamy. Through the Looking Glass was only ever officially released on VHS. It is an extremely rare item on VHS as it was deleted from production nearly 25 years ago and was only released in Japan and UK and never in the USA. Available here on DVD for the first time, and has been remastered from the original recording for the best possible picture and 2.0 Dolby Sound. Available exclusively here, at MVR.

So glad I was finally able to find a very good quality copy of this on DVD. Only a small glitch in the Wishing video and an incorrect title on the main menu keep me from giving 5 stars. I would not hesitate to buy other products. Thank You MVR.

I first heard about this “Through The Looking Glass” video on “YouTube”. I did not have MTV in the 1980’s, so I’d never even seen any of these videos before. Whoever uploaded the videos on “YouTube” said they were taken from this video. The quality was not very good and I wanted to see these videos on a full size TV instead of a small computer screen. I checked “Amazon” & “Ebay” and quickly realized that this video was way out of print and impossible to find on VHS. Also chances were that something like this would never be released on DVD. So when I found “MVR” this was the first thing I searched for. I was not expecting to find anything so you can imagine my surprise. I was very impressed with the quality, beautifully remastered. So much better than if I’d ever found this on VHS. “MVR” is providing an excellent service by saving and making rare hard to find videos like this available. This is a nostalgic celebration of one of the most under rated bands of the 1980’s. Featuring my favorite…the coolest most radically awesome hair style of all time! “A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS”
