Description
Product background and history: The original VHS of this collection was released in 1992 in USA. Shortly after, the title was deleted making it pretty rare already by the mid 90’s some 20 plus years ago. Finally after much demand from the fans, a DVD version was released in 1999. The only problem with the DVD version of this historic concert was discontinued making it extremely rare and impossible to find by the early 2000’s. Now that Aretha is no longer with us the latest search for the DVD turned up a listing for as much as “$146.95 from a website we won’t list here.
Released on the long since discontinued and deleted formats of VHS and LaserDisc, the following is a direct transfer from the original LaserDisc release that some fans argue is better quality than the over processed DVD release that was poorly remastered.
This REMASTERED DVD is sourced directly from the original high quality Japanese imported LaserDisc to DVD for the first time ever! Quality is unmatched as it transferred from the long since deleted LaserDisc from OVER THIRTY FOUR EIGHT years ago. Another original offer from your team at MVR!
