Behind the Music is a television series on VH1. It originally ran from 1997 to 2006, before it was stopped and only aired new episodes sporadically. The show was resurrected on September 10, 2009 in addition to the “Remastered Series” as seen below.

Let me begin by saying that ANYTHING you order from MVR will be shipped to you FAST!! Amazingly fast!! This DVD was no exception.
I am a HUGE fan of VH1’s “Behind The Music” and this John Lennon episode is a remastered, VH1 Classic series episode. It aired on 02/27/2010, is commercial free like others I’ve purchase from this site and runs for 45 minutes. The second program is VH1’s “Famous Crime Scenes” that aired on 03/05/2010; is an in depth look at the senseless murder of John Lennon. It includes reenactments; interviews with first responder police officers, a hospital doctor who worked on John; some of the last people who saw John alive. The third program is Bio’s “The Day John Lennon Died”. This 45 minute program includes interviews with friends, musicians, Dick Cavett and even John’s widow Yoko Ono. It has remarkable archive footage that includes the picture of John signing an autograph for his murderer shortly before he is killed. The picture was taken by Paul Goresh, who is also interviewed. This is a valued addition to my Beatles DVD collection. Thank you MVR, for your outstanding products keeping physical media alive otherwise I could’ve never had access to this excellent group of documentaries about John Lennon.
