I recently purchased and viewed the complete David Bowie – Promotional Retrospective Music Reel 1967-2016 5 Disc set and it is great! The first 3 discs cover – in chronological order – most (if not all) of Bowie’s promo videos all the way back to John, I’m Only Dancing through to the Lazarus. Not only do these discs contain MORE videos than found on the now OOP Best of Bowie 2 disc set, in some cases the image quality is even better (I have the 2 disc set as well and this is an improvement). The final 2 discs include more random or rare videos (the rest of the “if not all”, I guess!). Although there might be a bit too much Tin Machine near the end of things (some repetition and, let’s be honest, a little Tin Machine goes a LONG way), the complete (albeit somewhat slightly broken up since the video clips seem to be arranged here not in chronological but alphabetical order) “Love You ‘Till Tuesday” 1969 TV Special is worth the price of admission alone. Shipping was extremely fast and sturdy and the team at MVR were very helpful answering any and all of my questions and concerns. I HIGHLY recommend this set to any Bowie fan. It is worth every penny! (I also recommend getting the David Bowie – The Video Archives Retrospective Collection 1973-2017 22 disc!)
