Description: Dancing on the Valentine is a one of the earliest video releases by Duran Duran under PMI in the UK and Sony in the US in October 1984. It was released exclusively on VHS, Beta, Video 8 (8mm) and LaserDisc formats ONLY. Naturally the LaserDisc Version captures the absolute BEST Quality of these vintage classic music videos from Duran Duran.

Dancing on the Valentine is a collection of the three videos from the “Seven and The Ragged Tiger” LP. The title comes from the lyrics of “The Reflex”: “You gone too far this time / But I’m dancing on the valentine”. The artwork was also highly influenced by the release of “The Reflex” single, earlier in the year.

It is worth owning because this release has the “Movie Version” of New Moon On Monday. That song and “Union of The Snake” video version are unique versions to this original release. Duran’s “Greatest” release does have these videos but only featured as “easter eggs” with in the menu which is hard to get to and requires a lot of FFWD through the video over and over again….

Here is the ORIGINAL WAY these classic videos were first released and in the absolute BEST quality of this particular release from the band.

“The Reflex” – 4:18 (Toronto)
“Union of the Snake” – 4:12 (Sydney)
“New Moon on Monday” – 5:25 (Noyers, Bercy, Paris)
