Description: The concert was recorded live in front of 100,000 people during The Strange Behaviour Tour in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) on 8 January 1988 at the Praca De Aporteose, with other tracks added from the Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View on 31 July 1987 in San Francisco (USA) and the San Diego Sports Arena on 28 July in California (USA). The Strange Behaviour was a 99 date world tour that took Duran Duran from Japan to Europe and onto Canada, USA and finally Brazil.
The video was issued on the VHS format and was not released in the USA in any form, the only NTSC release was a Japanese laserdisc with this REMASTERED DVD comes from. The title originated when Simon Le Bon was starting out in the music business, and his mother asked him “When are you going to get a PROPER job ?” which Simon felt was like “Working for the skin trade”. Still to this day this vintage concert compilation has NEVER been officially released here in America, not on VHS, not on DVD so here it is for the Duran Duran Collector.

This DVD brings back memories for me. I saw Duran Duran in 1987 when this tour came to INDY. My wife now listens to Duran Duran with me.
The concert footage on this DVD looked like it came from a South American stop on the “Strange Behaviour ” tour in 1987. They were touring off the Notorious album after regrouping after the Power Station/Arcadia split. The trio of Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor together with guitarist Warren Cuccurullo are featured in this concert footage. It also has songs from the Notorious album plus earlier hits. The DVD also has The 3 videos from the album. Notorious, Skin Trade, and Meet El Presidente. Shipping was quick.

Truly stunned by the high quality of this– after watching a pixellated version of this online, I felt like I was actually at the concert!
Amazing era for DD; the arrangements and style of the “Notorious” era are criminally overlooked and should be praised much more often. This concert really shows how talented they are as musicians and performers in general.
Thanks MVR! Will be purchasing more in the future.
