DESCRIPTION: Original Air Date June 17th 2023: On June 25, 2023 BBC will be marking what would have been the singer-songwriter’s 60th birthday, while July 9 is the 40th anniversary of Wham!’s debut album, Fantastic. The BBC digs deep into the archives for typically charismatic interviews he did with the likes of Kirsty Young, Michael Parkinson and others. In this archival compilation of George Michael’s best – loved and mostly playing solo performances and Wham!. Interesting facts are shown as text at the bottom of the screen during the performances that relate to both the performance as well as facts about his career at the time.
