Andrew Ridgeley is on board for this project and has worked alongside with the Director on this documentary.
In 1982, teenage best friend George Michaels George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley created Wham! and set out to conquer the world with their hits, such as ‘Bad Boys’, ‘Club Tropicana’, ‘Last Christmas’, ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go Go’, ‘Freedom’, and ‘I’m Your Man’ to name just a few. By June of 1986 they played their very last gig at Wembley Stadium having done exactly that.
After just four years together as a band, the pair went their separate ways having performed their last gig to an adoring crowd at Wembley Stadium in June 1986. However, in their short time as a band they had achieved what they’d set out to do, becoming the first western pop act to perform in China, achieving two Number 1 albums and five Number 1 singles.

From Chris Smith, the director behind the acclaimed Fyre Fest documentary, fans will get the chance to follow Wham! from their early beginnings to the height of their success. The documentary will include footage from George and Andrew’s personal archives such as never-before-seen footage, and previously unheard interviews.
