Absolutely amazing collection of combined interviews, live music clips and VH1’s remastered Behind The Music documentary with the Go Go’s. This DVD is completely commercial free and runs for 1 hour 30 minutes. It begins with Belinda Carlisle’s 2008 interview with Craig Ferguson on the “Late, Late Show” completely RARE. Belinda also performs her hit single “Heaven Is A Place On Earth”. There is a Bio Channel interview with Belinda on their “Celebrity Ghost Stories” show. Belinda tells the true story of going to London with a friend to see the “Sex Pistols” and her encounter with a ghost later that same night. The Go Go’s, celebrating their 2011 30th Anniversary reunion, perform 4 songs (Our Lips Are Sealed, Vacation, We Got The Beat and This Town) on “Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series” in NYC’s Central Park. Next is an 1982 live performance of “We Got The Beat” on Solid Gold, with a Go Go’s introduction from Andy Gibb. Next, Belinda Carlisle is introducing 80’s songs as the host of 1994’s VH1’s “Big 80’s Weekend Special”. VH1’s “Behind The Music” remastered documentary is updated from the original 2000 episode. It includes more recent interviews with the band members and ends the program discussing the Go Go’s 2011 30th Anniversary reunion & their star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
