Background: This concert was first released on VHS in Europe, US and JAPAN in 1985 and a year later in the UK and Argenetina. The ONLY LaserDisc of this classic concert was exclusively released in Japan in 1985 and a re-issue in 1989. The NTSC LaserDisc release from Japan in 1989 is where this REMASTERED DVD comes from. Even now the LaserDisc of this concert is only available USED and it’s offered for sale for as much as $50.00 on websites as verified at the time of this description.
Description: This historic concert was filmed in Madison Square Garden, New York , on August 30, 1972. Post production was completed in November 1985 as a Sekhmet Production in association with Ono Video. Director in 1985 by Carol Dysinger. This film completed One To One production in 1972 and eventually released world wide 13 years later. Still to this day, this vintage concert has NEVER been officially released on DVD until NOW! So here it is for the first time ever on DVD for every devotee and collector of John Lennon and/or The Beatles
