Some musicians even formed an organization – the Academy of Country Entertainers – saying that country music awards should only go to true country artists. Some artists did come to her aid though. Dolly Parton’s sister Stella Parton even wrote a song about it called Ode to Olivia (look it up on YouTube if you want to hear it).
