Description/Background: The first THREE segments appear here on this DVD in their entirety. So there is clarity; what appears on the 25th anniversary DVD set on Disc 2 that is called “Rocky on VH1” are the similar segments and some are only excerpts of raw footage of interviews BUT they DO NOT include the entire program as originally aired. These three segments (Behind The Music, Where Are They Now? and Pop Up Video) are NOT complete and are HEAVILY edited down! As offered below by MVR are ALL THREE shows featured here in there original unedited lengths as they aired on VH1 25 years ago in 1999.

- Behind The Music: Rocky Horror Picture Show Season 3 Episode 12 Air Date 10/31/99: (WHOLE SHOW) Inspired by the Fredericks of Hollywood catalog, the Rocky Horror Show stage musical hit London at the height of the glam era, intstantly attracting the likes of David Bowie and Elvis. The subsequent film, starring a na•ve Susan Sarandon as well as Meat Loaf and Tim Curry reprising his Frank N. Furter role, was a box office flop until a young movie exec saw late-night potential in the gender warping rockstravaganza. Thus the midnight madness began: movie theaters around the U.S. were turning into haunted houses of hedonism as audience members found freedom through the film’s flamboyant characters and exuberant soundtrack. BTM is doing the time warp again, exploring the phenomenon through interviews with the show’s stars and producers; a former seminarian-turned-Artist Pages president; and Dori Hartley, the fan who became a star in her own right. - Rocky Horror 25th Anniversary VH1 Karoke Party Special: Record Date 10/14/00 and Air Date 10/29/00: VH-1 celebrates Rocky Horror’s 25th Anniversary with a celebrity karaoke special at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, including Richard O’Brien, Patricia Quinn and Little Nell from the original movie cast, Sal Piro (President of the RHPS Fan Club), and hundreds of Rocky Horror fans from the 25th Anniversary convention.
