First, I want to thank MVR for your friendly, personalized service. I’ve seen volumes 1 through 4 of these archives. Volume 4 has the highest quality of footage and is well-presented with a full multi page menu. Those of us who remember VHS recordings shouldn’t mind the first three volumes either. But if you’re young enough to be picky about such things and aren’t really a collector, you’re better off starting with Volume 4.
As for Siouxsie and the Banshees, I must have been living under a rock in the 1980s or on the wrong side of the Atlantic. I’ve only recently become familiar with the band, even though I’ve been interested in The Cure since 1990. But I’m already willing to declare Siouxsie the best female rock performer I have ever seen, period. I’m 53 and if I had known about Siouxsie forty years ago, I literally would have been in love with her.
