1.   VH1’s Behind The Music Season 5 Episode 14 “The Cult” Original  Air Date 20 January 2002: The band’s major commercial breakthrough came with Love in 1985, which comprised fully fledged hard rock song structures and pushed Duffy’s guitar lines to the fore. It spawned two UK Top 20 hit singles in the aforementioned ‘She Sells Sanctuary’ and ‘Rai hide show. Originally known as first Southern Death Cult, then Death Cult, the band was formed by lead singer Ian Astbury (b. 14 May 1962, Heswell, Merseyside, England) in 1981. After a youth spent in Scotland and Canada (where he gained early exposure to the culture of native Indians on the Six Nations Reservation, Where he got his native american image. Known for there goth rock sound, the cult have been an influence to all rock bands.For not many have heard of the cult or remember the screaming vocals of ian Astbury and the pure rock guitar of Billy Duff. The Cult remain together making incredible music for the new generation to hear the Cult proved they still deliver live and fans Are not disappointed
