Background: This “Video & Audio Album” was issued only in the USA in the VHS, Betamax and LaserDisc formats. ALL other countries did not see a release of this collection in any format. The only NTSC release was this US LaserDisc which this REMASTERED DVD is sourced from. Even now the LaserDisc of this rare collection is offred used for as much as $50.00. Still to this day, this collection has NEVER been officially released here in any other country in ANY format, not on VHS, not on LaserDisc, not on DVD until NOW! So here it is for the first time ever on DVD is the Dream Academy!
Description: Though there are 3 music videos, it is engrossing and extremely moving throughout. Paula Greif, Peter Kagan Directors for the music video “The Love Parade” started here along with directing music videos for Scritti Politti “Perfect Way” those two videos including a fashion video for “the girl gets totaled” brought this directing team to notoriety and would later direct music videos for a DURAN DURAN Julian temple Steve Winwood and a host of other bands and artists. In addition a mastered laserdisc recording of the entire debut album from the dream Academy follows this music video collection .
